New version of “Truck Lagbe” app launched as smart solution of truck hiring

A newer version of online app-based truck rental service provider “Truck Lagbe” app has recently released on Google Play Store aiming to deliver smart solution. The new version of the app is free and available from November 8 for download and install. 

After the installation of the app one can rent a truck from anywhere in Bangladesh.

With the “Truck Lagbe” app, users have to send request for a trip to rent a truck. Then a notification will be sent to the nearest drivers and a truck will be matched as per user’s demand.

Earlier, a trial version of the mobile app was released in July 2017. Since then, more than 1 million trips have been completed using this app.

The app is developed based on opinion and feedback of its users. With the app, one can find easy solution of renting a truck at a minimal cost. Small pickups are being rented at a fixed rate inside Dhaka city.

All other trucks for all over Bangladesh are hired through a bidding process among drivers. It is no more required for drivers and customers to visit truck stands for a trip.

Minhazur Rahman, Chief Technology Officer of Truck Lagbe said, “Who would have thought that they can connect with a truck driver inside Dhaka city at fixed price in less than a minute? We have a dedicated team to make sure of all such truck needs and to cater it in the Truck Lagbe app according to your feedback.”

Fahrina Ameen, Vice President (Product) of Truck Lagbe, said, “The goal of this app is to fulfill all the requirements of the users without making the experience complicated. Finding the proper balance was the main challenge. Along with exciting new features, we have also revamped the whole app to address it.”

In addition to the user-friendly interface, the new version of the app includes features like hassle-free address selection and adding multiple stop points in a trip as needed.

Fixed rate pickup fare, truck fare for round trips and truck rentals for the whole day in Dhaka city are also added in the new app. The facility of matching a trip with a desired driver is also available here.

All the trucks in the app are verified, so the security of users goods are ensured while transportation. Currently, the app is being used largely in Dhaka, Chittagong, Gazipur and Narayanganj.
