Tawhidur Rahman is a security professional with over 17 years of experience in Cyber security consultancy, Digital forensic, Framework Design, Policy Making, project development and execution, integration of various technologies, lawful interception system, Telecommunication network interrogation & active tracking system, command control and communication, critical infrastructure security, tactical & intelligence solutions etc. Currently he is working with Government of Bangladesh E-Government Computer Incident Response Team as Senior Technical Specialist (Digital Security & Diplomacy). His previous experience includes consultancy for Government Joint Defense Intelligence organization on different cyber-security issues. His research focuses on cybersecurity governance, and incident response. He holds a PGd in Digital Forensic from University of Leicester and Cyber Threat Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc in Computer Science & MIS from the Independent University, Bangladesh. Tawhidur Rahman is a member of the Global Forum of Cyber Expertise (GFCE) and Diplo Foundation. He has more than 56 Global vendor certificates like C|CISO, CEH, ITILFV3, ISO/IEC 27001 LA, COBIT 5, CLPTP, CCTA, CFIP, CCIP, Counterintelligence, OSINT…. etc. and also certified from US Homeland Security, US State Department, EU Union on Cyber Crime investigation & Diplomacy. Tawhidur Rahman is interested in areas such as cybersecurity and Internet governance, platform and infrastructure studies, cyber norms, non-state actors, computer-mediated communication, critical security studies, risk and digital diplomacy & trans-border crime. He is also pioneer of digital diplomacy & Data diplomacy in Bangladesh. He has 6 national and international publication on OSINT and Digital diplomacy.
