A two day long Conference titled ‘Annual Managers’ Conference 2020’ participated by all 482 Branch Managers, Regional Managers & Sr. Executives of Head Office was held at Hotel Long Beach Auditorium, Cox’s Bazar recently to motivate them to increase Bank’s business by rendering better services. M. Azizul Huq, Chairman, Board of Directors graced the conference as chief guest while Managing Director & CEO Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury presided over the conference.
Directors- Monzurur Rahman, Habibur Rahman, Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury, M. Kabiruzzaman Yaqub FCMA (UK), CGMA; Rumana Sharif, Azizur Rahman, Arif A. Choudhury, Asif A. Choudhury and Rana Laila Hafiz were present as Special Guests. Additional Managing Director Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Ali were also present.
In the conference Chief Guest rewarded 42 best Managers for their outstanding performance.
In his speech M. Azizul Huq emphasized on expansion of foreign remittance business through better customer & modern banking service. He also advised all to work hard, look for new business avenues and adopt diversification and to take concerted efforts for achieving the target fixed for the year 2020.
In his speech Managing Director & CEO Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury, drawing the past heritage, history, culture of PBL, said that the management with the help of Board of Directors are doing its best for expansion of business, upgrading of customer services in all respect. He urged all officials to take concerted efforts for achieving the targets fixed for the year 2020 through modern banking services. He affirmed that Pubali Bank will render its service to the remote area of the country. Managing Director hoped that Pubali Bank will lead in the banking sector in the year 2020.
