Conference & Exhibition Management Services Ltd, commonly known as CEMS Global, hosted the ‘11th Meditex Bangladesh 2018′, ‘4th Bangladesh Clinical Lab Expo 2018’ & ‘3rd International Health Tourism & Services Expo 2018’ from May 3-5 May at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Kuril, Dhaka.
The inauguration ceremony for the event was held on the first day of the expo on May 3, at 11am in the Seminar Hall of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
Zahid Maleque, MP and State Minister for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, attended the event as the chief guest. Special guests Salina Begum MP, Ministry of Health and Family Planning; Priti Chakraborty, Director, FBCCI; Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director, CEMS Global USA & Asia Pacific and Tanveer Qamrul Islam, Executive Director, CEMS Bangladesh were also present at the inauguration ceremony for the exhibitions.
The event hosted approximately 170 booths representing 120 companies from 18 countries that participated in the expo. The expo assembled distributors, importers, trading companies, hospitals, business representatives, bulk purchasers from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bangladesh, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Korea, Canada, Taiwan, India, UK and USA.
Thisexpo, organized by CEMS Global, is the biggest networking place for the medical and related industries in Bangladesh for buyers, manufacturers and suppliers, as these exhibitions are highly focused on showcasing the latest technologies and advancements of equipment and technology in medical equipment, surgical instruments, hospital equipmentandsupplies, materials and services for the pharmaceutical sector, clinical lab products, as well as medical tourism specialists. During the three-day expo CEMS Global, CMED Health Limited, Aims Lab and United International University jointly organized a seminar on ‘The Future of Healthcare’ on the opening day. On the second day CEMS Global and Physionews24 jointly organized a seminar titled ‘Stroke Prevention & Management’ at the ‘4th Medi-Con Bangladesh’. A third seminar on the final day was held on ‘Liver Diseases & Treatment’, presented jointly by CEMS Global and Doctorola.Com.
