BRAC Bank recently launched ‘Agami’, a package of solutions to help students with their plans to study abroad.
“Agami is BRAC Bank’s complete student file solution. It will provide all necessary facilities to the students traveling abroad for study purposes,” said Mahiul Islam, Head of Retail Banking of BRAC Bank.
‘Agami’ comes with four beneficial features for the students: a student file, a study-abroad credit card, a savings account, and an education insurance coverage.
While the student file service will enable a more convenient transfer of the education expenses for the families, the study-abroad credit card, endorsed with foreign currency, will be helpful for the students in meeting their day-to-day living expenses as well as emergencies. The credit card comes with a 100% waiver on the first year annual fee and a referral campaign for students with an opportunity to get cashback and bonus reward points on foreign currency endorsements to their cards.
‘Agami’ also offers students with educational insurance coverage of up to BDT 1 crore. It is an opt-in facility and in the event of a parent’s death, the insurance company will pay for the remaining tuition fees of the student.
BRAC Bank will also offer a ‘Happy Savers Account’ for these students that can be opened with BDT 1,000 only and provides students with an opportunity of interest-earning from any balance.
