ASUS VivoBook S: The Notebook of Generation Z

For today’s youth, laptop has become a lifestyle statement.The all new ASUS VivoBook S series are designed to appeal more to the younger audience. They sport a new look and special features that cater to a more dynamic lifestyle with diverse interests.

The series is designed with special consideration on its aesthetic side – design and colors. To further appeal to the younger generation, VivoBook S14 / S15 break away from tradition with five unique color blocking designs, each drawing inspiration from themes that reflect the ideas and attitudes of today’s youth.

For example, there’s the nature inspired Moss Green with Energy Orange, and the street based Punk Pink with Moss Green Accents.It has an edgy look, with eye catching color blocking finishes and twill inspired vents. Besides adding a dash of personality, the new colors give VivoBook S14 / S15 a sleeker and more chic look compared to ordinary laptops.

There’s even the innovative Ergo Lift hinge to improve user ergonomics and cooling. The Ergo Lift hinge has a silky-smooth dual action design that holds the display securely at any angle while slightly tilting the keyboard up by up to 3.5° to give a more comfortable typing position every time. The hinge is made out of a single piece of metal, making it stronger and more durable for additional structural support.The new series have a metal chassis milled from solid aluminum alloy.

The new metal lid design features a textured finish that differentiates them from other VivoBook models.The new VivoBook S14/ S15 feature the frameless four-sided NanoEdge display. The thin bezel design allows for a more immersive viewing experience, and makes VivoBook S14 / S15 smaller than other laptops in its class.

In addition, the panel features wide 178° viewing angles, and ASUS Tru2Life technology for more realistic visuals. VivoBook S14 / S15 are the first VivoBooks to feature an IR camera and Wi Fi 6, and also have Harman Kardon certified audio. VivoBook S14 / S15 is the ultraportable that doesn’t weigh you down. Both models feature an 18 mm profile, with VivoBook S14 and VivoBook S15 weighing 1.4 kg and 1.8 kg respectively. Ultra thin and light, simply slip it into your messenger bag or backpack, and away you go!

VivoBook S14 / S15 are powered by up to a quad core 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor and NVIDIA® MX 250 graphics for efficient multitasking and gaming on the go, and feature an array of I/O ports to ensure compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. VivoBook S14 / S15 are also the first VivoBook models to feature infrared (IR) camera for password free facial login.
