Thyrocare Bangladesh Receives CAP Accreditation

A celebratory event took place today at the American Chamber of Commerce as Thyrocare Bangladesh Limited became the first and only digitized lab in Bangladesh to achieve the accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) recently, the gold standard for accreditation globally. Thyrocare Bangladesh Limited, is an affiliate of Thyrocare Technologies Ltd., a market leader and a trend setting automated diagnostic laboratory, founded by Dr. A. Valumani. Thyrocare Bangladesh Limited is also celebrating its 5th year anniversary in Bangladesh serving over 10,000 customers across Dhaka, Chittagong, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Narayanganj, Rajshahi, Gazipur and Barishal.

By showcasing the key achievements of Thyrocare, the guests present at the occasion shared their insightful views about the overall scenario of Bangladesh’s healthcare sector. Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Honorable Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament was present as the Chief Guest. Also, present were Special Guest; Enam Ahmed Choudhury, Member, Advisory Council, Bangladesh Awami League; Key Speakers Dr, A. Velumani, Promoter, Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Thyrocare and Mr. Reaz Islam, Chairman, Thyrocare Bangladesh and Chief Investment Officer, LR Global. Notable diplomats from Embassies, esteemed Government officials, dignitaries, and key practitioners were present on the occasion.

The event highlighted the success of Thyrocare and the way it has created revolutionary impact towards the healthcare sector of Bangladesh, since its commercial inception in 2014. Thyrocare Bangladesh Limited, from day one has been relentlessly working to provide the highest quality and affordable preventive care services to its fast-growing customers across the country. We always believe that prevention is better than cure and Thyrocare focuses on preventive healthcare. It is also a matter of great pleasure for me to see Thyrocare contributing to create future leaders by initiating this scholarship.”

In addition, to the celebration of the 5th year anniversary and CAP accreditation, one of the key highlights was the award ceremony of “Thyrocare Niaz Murshed Leadership Scholarship Award”forpromoting and inspiring future leaders. Eleven winners between 15-18 years of age with exemplary leadership qualification from local school and colleges were awarded a prize money of BDT 1 lacand one-year mentorship sponsored by Thyrocare.
