Community Bank Bangladesh Limited recently inaugurated its first school banking booth Shaheed Police Smrity College in the capital.
SM Ruhul Amin, additional inspector general of police, inaugurated the booth in presence Masihul Huq Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of Community Bank, and teachers of Shaheed Police Smrity College, said a press release.
The objective of the bank is to make banking transactions available to the students and to encourage the habit of saving from the early stage of life.
It will also facilitate both the guardian and school authority for tuition fees collection in near future.
AIG Ruhul Amin said: “Community Bank has arrived to School level to facilitate school banking services with innovative banking solutions for the students of Shaheed Police Smrity College. I believe this school banking initiative will create saving habit and will ensure access to digital banking and facilitate the students and guardians to easy payment in future.”
Masihul Huq Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of Community Bank, said: “We are already aware of the significant activities of the present government which started its journey towards being a developed country by 2041.”
