Robi, the leading digital service provider of the country, is going to set up an Innovation Lab at Business Administration Institute (IBA) of Dhaka University.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between these organizations in this regard on August 21 at IBA premises. Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and IBA’s Director, Prof. Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under the agreement, Robi will set up a state-of-the-art ‘Innovation Lab’ in the newly renovated IBA library premises. Key focus of the Lab will be to introduce IBA students to the latest developments in data analytics, block chain, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Besides, the Lab will facilitate the students to come up with real-life innovative digital business ideas.
Senior corporate officer and IBA faculty teachers including Robi’s Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer Shahed Alam were present on the occasion.
Robi will collaborate with IBA to conduct market research projects on new products, brand and persona identification to help the company determine the best ways to serve the digitally native consumers.
