During an official certificate handover ceremony at Guardian Life head office on February 18th, the Sponsor & Patron of Guardian Life, Mr. Tapan Chowdhury received ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certificates from the Managing Director of ISO QAR Bangladesh, Mr. Rashid M Akhter.
Mr. Tapan Chowdhury said, “With the guiding principal of ‘Insurance for All’, Guardian Life is always striving to promote this philosophy. Guardian Life continues to strengthen its value chain with the highest standard ofexcellence in customer service & delivery.”
Mr. Rashid M Akhter said, “As a recognition for the pursuit of excellence, Guardian Life has recently been awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications by ISO QAR Bangladesh which is one of the subsidiary of United Kingdom Accreditation Service, UKAS in Bangladesh.”UKAS is the UK’s National Accreditation Body, responsible for determining, in the public interest, the technical competence and integrity of organizations. It is the first time that any Life Insurance Company of Bangladesh has been bestowed with both these certificates together.
The ceremony was graced by the special presence of Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman Patwari, Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA). Among other Sponsors and Patrons of Guardian Life, Mr. Syed Nasim Manzur, Mr. Sameer Ahmad and Barrister Nihad Kabir were present. Director, Mr. David James Howard Griffiths was present. CEO of Guardian Life, M M Monirul Alam was also present there.
