BRAC Bank to provide multiple digital banking services to ChaldalPay

BRAC Bank and ChaldalPay have recently signed a partnership agreement on digital payment and settlement services.

ChaldalPay is an e-wallet based online payment platform of Chaldal Payments Limited, a sister concern of Chaldal Limited. The concept of ChaldalPay evolved to support the ecosystem of Chaldal.

ChaldalPay will facilitate easy payment and refund system, to the users of different businesses of Chaldal. It will be first launched within the business units of Chaldal Limited and will gradually be extended to the supply chain of Chaldal which covers the major FMCG’s in Bangladesh.

Chaldal Payments Limited will use the settlement services of BRAC Bank to facilitate transactions for its upcoming ChaldalPay e-wallet under the Payment Services Provider (PSP) license. 

The integration between ChaldalPay and BRAC Bank will help the customers of both organizations to enjoy smooth, reliable, and secure transactions conveniently.

Sabbir Hossain, DMD and Chief Operating Officer, BRAC Bank Limited, and Waseem Alim, Managing Director, Chaldal Payments Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Siraj Siddiquey (Shakil), Head of Digital Banking; Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Head of Branches, Distribution Network, BRAC Bank Limited; Ishrat Jahan Nabila, Director; Tanveer Rashid, Director; and Riaz Rahman Bony, Director; Chaldal Payments Limited, were also present on the occasion.
