Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) has always been at the forefront of a new technology innovation and adaptation in Bangladesh’s banking sector. I would say this is happening here because we have leaderships both in our management and in our board who are very adept in envisioning the future.
Our launching of NexusPay is just a continuation of what we have been doing so far. We are obviously very excited with it as we believe it has all the capacity to give Bangladeshi people the true experience of digital payment system.
The IT and IT Development Division are fully equipped to handle the operational volume of NexusPay and our divisions are in a position to handle any contingency or anomaly in the system.
DBBL has been maintaining the largest ATM network in the country and there has been some complains in the past few years that some of our ATM machines don’t work. Obviously handling a large ATM network in a country like Bangladesh is not easy but our concerned divisions have taken that problem very seriously. Now you will find almost our entire ATM network active all the time.
We believe in the same manner, we will keep our NexusPay system and network active and alive for our valuable customers all the time.
