BARVIDA Donates Ambulance to Prime Minister’s Humanitaran Program

BARVIDA (Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association) donates an Ambulance to Prime Minister’s humanitaran program recently..

The BARVIDA Leaders handed over the Ambulance to the Principal Secretary of Prime Minister at the ministry.

Abdul Haque, President of BARVIDA was present on the occasion including  Mohammed Shahidul Islam, Secretary General and Mohd. Saiful Islam (Somrat), Vice-President of BARVIDA.

Note that BARVIDA has been contributing lion’s share in the country’s transport sector by supplying vehicles over the last more than 3 decades. Currently, around 900 enterprises under the BARVIDA membership are in operations across the country.

The total investment in this sector is several thousands crore taka. The enlisted BARVIDA member companies pay several thousands crore taka as revenue to the Government in a year.

Moreover, more than 1 lakh people are employed in this sector directly or indirectly.
